The cuisine is overseen by Chef Alfonso Iaccarino, patron of Don Alfonso 1890. Our cuisine is inspired mainly by traditional Neapolitan recipes, although with a modern touch and focus on using fresh and local ingredients. All products that we use are in fact grown in local farms of the peninsula and are what we consider to be our most important heritage.

Belvedere Restaurant

Belvedere Restaurant is the culinary heart of the Imperial Hotel Tramontano.
This a la carte restaurant located in Sorrento overlooks the Gulf of Naples. From its spaces you can enjoy breathtaking views with the imposing silhouette of Mount Vesuvius in the background. The cuisine is a blend of tradition and innovation, with ancient recipes from founder Alfonso Iaccarino, such as his famous cannelloni. The restaurant is always creating new dishes as well, taking inspiration from the artistic Neapolitan cuisine. The Belvedere Restaurant and the entire restaurant area of the hotel are supervised by Chef Alfonso Iaccarino, owner of «Don Alfonso 1890». The recipes created by Iaccarino are executed by our Chef Pasquale di Meglio.
